Welcome to Colour City Dance!

Colour City Dance is a boutique style dance studio. A fun place where children and young adults learn to dance and perform! Our teachers are all passionate about dance and passing on this love and appreciation of dance from tiny tots to adults.

We specialise in quality dance classes with ballet being a strong focus – and many ballet classes are taught by the Principal, Miss Suzanne Duffy.

We endeavour to pass on our passion of dance with a strong technique in all styles of dance!

2024 Fee Schedule

Please see our fee schedule for 2024 below. Fees are calculated and debited per term. Our terms run concurrently with school terms. An annual enrolment fee of $40 per student is required at the beginning of each year which covers insurance, music licences, administration costs etc.

Petite Ballet + Broadway Babies $200 ($20/week)

2 Classes $270 ($27/week)

3 Classes $370 ($37/week)

4 Classes $470 ($47/week)

5 Classes $570 ($57/week)

6 Classes $670 ($67/week)

7 Classes $770 ($77/week)

Unlimited Classes $850 ($85/week)

We are an active and creative kids voucher provider - meaning you can use your vouchers towards dance fees.

Early birds (pay Term 1 fees in full before 26th-Jan) save 10% on Term 1 Class Fees.

Private/Solo Lesson Fees (per lesson)

Private Lessons (30 minutes) $40/hr

Private Lessons (60 minutes) $80/hr

Costume Fees - All Prices Include GST

We participate in various eisteddfods throughout the year, to provide positive performance opportunities for our students.

Students are required to purchase or hire one costume for each class they attend. Students keep any costumes purchased.

Tutu hire (generally for ballet classes) $50 per tutu

Costume purchase $70-100 per costume

Costume fees are charged at the start of Term 2.

Colour City Dance - Terms & Conditions

1. Fees, Rates & Charges

a. Term fees are to be fully paid prior to the commencement of the start of each term.

b. Term fees are strictly non-refundable. We are unable to refund/credit term fees or part thereof due to absence/change of mind.

c. The Enrolment Fee is non-refundable.

d. A $10 late fee will be applied to fees not paid by the due date. Colour City Dance reserves the right to bill you for any associated costs in retrieving any funds overdue for more than 61 days.

e. If students are away for a full term then term fees are not charged, however the student may lose their place in the class if we are able to fill it.

f. Should the school cancel a class for any reason, and not replace the class with an online alternative, then credits/refunds for the cancelled classes will be issued.

h. Should the school be subject to closure by the government, it is the intention of the school to run all classes online. We are unable to credit fees for any class being offered online.

2. Personal Conduct & Child Safety

a. Courteous and respectful behaviour is expected from all participants in the Colour City Dance community, including students, parents and friends.

b. All employees, contractors, sub-contractors, parent helpers are required to have a working with children check if working with Colour City Dance students.

c. CCD reserves the right to decline service should the above expectations not be met.

d. Parents must list illnesses and allergies on the school’s Enrolment Form or notify the school in writing via email.

3. Attendance

a. Please notify the school via text if a class or classes are to be missed.

b. All parents, visitors and students are required to adhere to COVID -19 requirements. Colour City Dance complies with NSW GUIDELINES but is not liable in the case of students/ parents / visitors contracting COVID -19. All those entering the studio are responsible for taking COVID-19 safety measures.

4. Limit of Liability

a. You accept and acknowledge that you may be liable for any losses, costs, or other charges due to damages caused by you or your child to Colour City Dance property. This may include cleaning fees or any other associated costs.

b. Colour City Dance does not exclude or limit- the application of any provision of any statute (including the Trade Practices Act1974) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of this clause to be void; or

c. Direct losses and damages which arise only as a result of Colour City Dance gross negligence (which means where Colour City Dance commits an act or allows an omission to occur in reckless disregard the consequences of the act or omission).

d. Colour City Dance excludes all statutory liability (Including but not limited to liability in negligence), the general law or statute, liability for all direct, economic, consequential or indirect losses, expenses, damages, and costs incurred by you, arising out of or relating to the attendance at class, including, but not limited to, liability for gross negligence,

e. Colour City Dance is not responsible or liable for any indirect consequential or economic damage.

5. Consent

a. You consent to Colour City Dance employees, helpers or contractors taking your child to the toilet if required, apply first aid in the event of an emergency, physical contact in relation to dance correction and instruction, take photographs for Colour City Dance promotional or marketing activities and understand to the risk associated with dance activities and the possibility of injury.
